For this project, I worked closely with my professor, Hans Kleefled (also known as the original designer of the Tim Horton's logo), to come up with a new prospective identity for the brand.
The proposed Over the Rainbow 35th Anniversary commemorative logos creates a design fusion of old & new. The combination of the retro colours and contemporary “Web 2.0” typographic style communicates the historical significance of the company that has maintained its relevance over the past 35 years. The aesthetic conveys an approachable and friendly feel, while expressing a premium design culture; both are evident in the consumer’s in-store shopping experience.
